A Labor Day tradition for collector car enthusiasts spanning more than four decades, Auctions America’s Auburn Fall event is one of the country’s premier celebrations of the hobby. The 2013 edition of the event demonstrated that Auburn has been fully restored as the Classic Car Capital of America, boasting record sales of more than $28 million and drawing 70,000 enthusiasts to the historic Auburn Auction Park. The 2014 weekend is once again set to offer something for everyone. In addition to four days of fast-paced auction excitement from the dual-ring arena, the event provides fun for the whole family, including a car corral, swap meet, unique vendors, celebrity appearances and thrill-seeking automotive-themed activities. NBCSN will also bring four days of Auburn Fall coverage to more than 80 million homes across the U.S. Early highlights for the sale are led by a stunning ACD trio perfectly matched to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival weekend, including a genuine 1935 Auburn 851 Supercharged Speedster, a supercharged 1937 Cord 812 Sportsman, and an authentic 1935 Duesenberg Model SJ Dual-Cowl Phaeton by LaGrande.
