Start: Southern Marin County, CA
End: Petaluma, CA
$50. Gates 7:30am, event 8am.
Getting out on the backroads on New Year’s Day is kind of a tradition in the North Bay. We aren’t usually much for tradition, but we can get behind a good drive, so here’s our spin on this ol’ chestnut: One on One 2024. It’s either short for ‘One Hundred Miles on January 1st,’ ‘Day One on Highway 1,’ or some combo thereof. It doesn’t matter. What matters is that a bunch of good folks and rad cars are heading out on some of Northern California’s finest twisties for a grand time, and you ought to be there.
Before the rally, we’ll meet at 8am at an undisclosed start point in Southern Marin County, CA for a little pre-rally social hour. At 9am, we’ll take off in 3 groups (HARE, TORTOISE, and SNAIL groups) 5 minutes apart; we’ll be done around noon, touching down in Petaluma for an optional lunch at California’s oldest roadhouse.
How to register.
1. Make sure you & your car can attend the rally on the given date & time, rain or shine.
2. Register for this rally with your vintage (1999 & earlier) or eligible modern car (2000 and newer) for a $50 fee; we’ll mail you a rally decal & parking pass.
WHAT’S ELIGIBLE? All pre-2000 vehicles are welcome; 2000 and newer car entries are limited to “enthusiast” models and other “interesting“ vehicles- sports cars, low production runs, unusual/exotic marques, grey market imports, backyard-modded enthusiast projects, things like that. Motorcycles and post-1999 SUVs/CUVs/trucks/minivans are NOT eligible. If in doubt your vehicle qualifies, click here before submitting an application.
1999 & EARLIER CAR APPLICATIONS - upon sending your application, you’ll receive email confirmation that your submission was received. Within approx. 48 hours, watch for another email stating whether you’ve been awarded a spot in the rally.
2000 & NEWER CAR APPLICATIONS - we usually receive more qualified modern car applications than we can accommodate. Watch your email to learn whether you snagged a spot or not.
