GORDON MCCALL’S MOTORWORKS REVIVAL CELEBRATES 25 + 1 YEARS! - MONTEREY, CALIF. (August, 2017) – Known for his kickoff gala to the world-renowned Monterey car week, Gordon McCall sets his sights on the most spectacular Motorworks Revival in its 26-year history. Welcoming 3,000 fellow enthusiastic auto-moto-aero aficionados, this year’s event promises to raise the bar once again, with the addition of an amazing culinary and wine presentation for the evening. McCall, having pioneered the event concept of joining aviation and automotive interests — an idea that has been imitated several times over across the country — is now creating yet another level of experiential entertainment with the alliance with food and wine. Local celebrity chefs Jerome Viel, from Jerome’s Carmel Valley Market, and Tim Wood, from the Valley Kitchen at Carmel Valley Ranch, will join in the festivities this year and wow the guests with bespoke composed plates paired with four highly exclusive, limited-production, and “member only” boutique wineries from Carmel Valley and Napa Valley. Along with the special plated presentations, award-winning Bernardus winery continues to indulge the VIP guests with its Santa Lucia varietals, served by its winemakers, winery staff, and owner Ben Pon at the helm. California Caviar returns to start the evening off right with elegantly paired small bites in the main Center Stage Pavilion. Affini Food | Wine form Carmel will be topping off the evening with a late night bite as guests depart.
